Paragliding School

Our goal is that every graduate student in the School of Paragliding Puerto Rico, have a solid set of skills and knowledge of the sport. Our instructors have many years of experience have created an integrated program that emphasizes fun and safety.

The lectures are mainly composed of meteorology, aerodynamics, use and recognition of the team.

One of the most important parts of the course is the tandem flight with the instructor where the student is supervised while guiding the paraglider flight.

The key to learning is to deepen the practice to acquire skills that instinctively demands the sport of paragliding. This is accomplished with lots of practice on the ground and small short flights from places with safe, which gradually change to teach the student to make the best decisions and provide confidence.

Instructors create a logical and safe plan is carried out through constant monitoring and communication radio.Each student will have access to videos, computer animations and books maneuvers.

Although our program is very structured, we recognize that students have unique schedules and progress at different rates, so we have designed our courses with flexibility to suit your needs.We have teams of Initiation for the course level, harnesses or chairs with back and side protection, helmet, parachute, radios and flight simulator.
